Incorporation Statuses - Order Update
You can view the status of an incorporation order on the order page on eFiling. Incorporation Statuses: INCOMPLETE The payment has been made but the application has not been completed. 1. Go to the ‘Customer Overview’ page and select ‘Switch to Customer’. 2. Inform the customer they need to login to their account to complete the application, to allow the company to be submitted to Companies House for incorporation. MONEY LAUNDERING CHECKS The application is currently going through our money laundering checks. This confirms if: 1. Client/officers pass the MLC checks 2. .Client/officers fail the MLC checks 3. .We cannot run MLC checks as the client/officer is a non-UK resident. IN REVIEW Money Laundering Checks are complete and the customer has either passed or failed these checks. a. If the customer/officers pass MLC checks, the application will be reviewed in the next 5 minutes and submitted to Companies House (or paused, if there is an issue with the application - see below). b. If the customer/officers fail MLC checks (or if they cannot be run due to being a non-UK customer), the order will be 'Paused' - see below. PAUSED / SUBMITTED The application is paused due to ID being required (i.e. MLC fail) or because there is an issue with the company details provided at the review stage after money laundering checks. Please see the notes tab on the company overview of eFiling to see if the order is paused due to ID being required. If there are no notes on eFiling regarding ID, check the CST Paused spreadsheet please check with Sarah Dawes. SUPPLIED/PROCESSING The application has been submitted to Companies House. The company should be formed within 24 hours of submission to Companies House, but this can take longer and is subject to Companies House workload. To see when an order was submitted to Companies House: 1. Select ‘View Order’ on the Company Overview page ‘Invoiced’ – this is the date and time the application was completed by the customer ‘Released’ – this is the date and time the application was sent to Companies House ACCEPTED The company has been incorporated and will be visible on Companies House public register. You should ask the customer if they have checked their email for the Order Fulfilled email containing their company formation documents and package inclusions. If they have not received it, you should re-send it and also tell them to check their spam/junk folder for the original email. REJECTED Companies House has rejected the application due to invalid information being provided. Please contact Verginia Nagenthiran or Sophia Petrou for further information.
