Clients should be aware that the processing of the change can take up to 2 months, depending on Companies House's workload.   Correcting a director's date of birth after appointment If the director's DOB is incorrect after incorporation, the process is usually quicker, often taking 5 working days. This speed applies to corrections made when a director's details, including DOB, were inaccurately recorded after their appointment.   What we need from the client Director Identification document: A clear and valid copy of the director’s identification document (such as a passport) is required to verify their date of birth for the amendment. While CoSec will request this from the customer, it is important to inform them in advance to ensure a smooth process and manage expectations   Cost of the service  Director Only: £49.99 + VAT Covers the correction of one director’s DOB from incorporation. This includes the completion and submission of necessary forms to Companies House. PSC Only: £19.99 + VAT For clients who need to update the Person of Significant Control (PSC) details. Director and PSC: £69.98 + VAT Includes both the director’s DOB correction and PSC updates. This service is not listed in the shop section of the customer's account. The process for correcting the director’s DOB for an LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) & Limited by Guarantee is the same.
