Before Selling AD01 Service: Check Company Status – CH acceptance takes 3-4 weeks, depending on Companies House's workload. If the company is dissolving, we do not recommend selling the service. If the customer is insistant, inform them that they will be purchasing it at their own risk, and if the company dissolves, they will not be eligible for a refund of the service. House's acceptance. Service Address Requirement – If using our Service Address, ensure they have purchased this service; otherwise, filing cannot proceed. Check to see if their Service Address has defaulted too. Auth Code (PROOF Scheme) – If the company is under PROOF, an RP03 form is required alongside AD01 (and this requires the authentication code). The filing cannot be complete without this. If the company is not under PROOF, the auth code is not required. After an AD01 Sale: Log the Sale – Record details in the Default Address Removal Log. Update Column “E” – Mark "Yes" if a Service Address has defaulted and a change is required at Companies House. Process After Logging the Sale: Customer Contact – Forms are sent within one working day. Customer Action – They must sign or print their name, depending on the document. Submission to Companies House – Once signed, documents are posted to Companies House. Processing Time – Companies House typically takes 3-4 weeks to approve and reflect changes. The AD01 filing is £29.99 + VAT and must be purchased alongside our Registered Office service.
