Why do you charge for Business Address service mail forwarding?

We are unable to predict the volume of mail that will be received from any one company using our Business Address service, and as a result, we have decided that to ensure we do not make a loss on providing this service to our customers, we pass the mail forwarding charge onto our customers. This is in contrast to our Registered Office and Service Address services, which do not incur mail forwarding charges in most circumstances, as we are able to predict the amount of statutory mail any given company or officer will receive in a given year, and we have priced these services accordingly.   Upsell – Digital Business Address Service Rapid Formations packages by default will include the scan and email service. Just so you know, previous customers may still be on the postal option and for these, we can offer a free upgrade to our digital offering. Should you wish to reduce your mail forwarding costs, we strongly recommend you consider our Digital Business Address Service. All Business Address service mail received will be scanned and emailed to you on the same day we receive, at a cost of 50p per letter. This is a significant time and financial saving on your current postal delivery method. There is no charge to switch to our Digital Business Address Service – simply reply to this email requesting to switch to our Digital Business Address Service and this will be actioned within 24 hours. Please note that items larger than A4 (which cannot be scanned), and items of value (e.g. bank cards or cheques), will be forwarded by post, once received.   By
