Barclays want customer to verify their trading address
BACKGROUND Barclays have informed us that a customer can have a virtual address as their registered address, however, this address cannot be used as their trading address. If a company’s registered and trading address differs, then Barclays require proof of the trading address for the company. The customer can prove their trading address by providing one of the following: A lease / licence / rental agreement A utility bill / bank statement or credit card statement (excluding store card statements), dated within the last 3 months A current liability insurance contract Correspondence from regulators, dated within the last 3 months (e.g. FCA, Solicitor’s Regulation Authority etc.) Correspondence from HMRC dated within the current financial year A letter from an accountant or solicitor on headed notepaper confirming the trading address
