Customer wants to know their authentication code
BACKGROUND The authentication code is a sensitive piece of information and acts as a password to make changes to a company. Never give this out over the phone and always advise that this will be sent to the email on file. PROCESS Advise that this can be located within the ‘Order Fulfilled’ email that was sent to them, in a PDF file titled INFORMATION1. The client can also find this by: 1. Logging in to their customer portal, 2. Selecting ‘My Companies’ 3. The code can be seen next to the relevant company name under the ‘Auth Code’ section. If they are unable to find the email or log in to their account, advise that you will send this to the email address on file. Please advise that you cannot send it to an alternative email address due to its sensitive nature.
