Updating company addresses via the customer portal

A company’s registered office and service address can be updated electronically via the customer portal.   How to update a company’s address:   Check we have the correct authentication code on file for the company  On the company’s structure page on eFiling > Select Show Companies House Data under Quick Tasks.  Move to Switch to Customer View  On the company’s overview page on eFiling > Select Switch to Customer under Quick Tasks.   Update a company’s registered office   On the company overview page > Select the Pencil icon next to ‘Registered Office’ Choose Registered Office box > Choose Another > Select New Address: If the address shown is correct > Select Next. If the address is incorrect > Select Choose Another, and follow onscreen instructions to add another address. Click next > Confirmation > Do not change the effective date > Select Add to Cart Updating a company’s service address ‘Appointments’ section of the customer overview page > Select the ‘Edit’ button next to the relevant officer. Select Yes – I want to make this an official appointment at Companies House > Update. Under the Service Address > Choose Service Address > Select.
