Customer requires an extension of their address services whilst the company is being dissolved.

Background: Upon acceptance of a DS01 to strike off a company, Companies House advises that the company will be dissolved in a minimum of two months from the date of the First Gazette notice however this is a minimal time frame and usually takes longer. Where a customer has our address services due to renew/expire before the company will be struck-off we can offer an extension in the form of a 4-month renewal. If we are to file for dissolution on their behalf, through our Company Dissolution Service or 12-Month Cancellation Protection Service, the CoSec team will arrange an extension of the Registered Office Address and Service Address (where applicable) as part of this at no additional cost. Extension Prices (All three brands): Registered Office Address – £10.00 + VAT Service Address – £8.00 + VAT (Per Service Address) Business Address – £20.00 + VAT N.B. The Business Address extension is purely optional should the customer expect any final business mail items. Handling fees will apply as normal. You must first check Companies House Filing History to see that the DS01 has been filed. Under no circumstances should you offer these prices where there is no evidence that the customer has applied for dissolution. Process: From the Company Overview on eFiling, select ‘Raise Invoice/Credit’. Create one line per service being extended and clearly describe the line items. E.g. Extension: Registered Office Address, Extension: Service Address Raise the invoice with the required pricing, and optionally email the invoice to the customer at the same time. Once the invoice has been paid, from the ‘Services’ section select ‘View’ for each service requiring to be extended. Select ‘Edit’ on the right-hand side, then select ‘Renew Date’, and change this to be four months after the date the DS01 application was received at Companies House. g.
