Non-EU customers requesting VAT-free invoices

We are unable to provide VAT-free invoices for customers outside of the UK. The company formation industry has received a formal judgment from HMRC on charging VAT on company formation and related services to newly formed companies being sold to customers based outside of the UK. The HMRC written judgment stated: As the companies being registered are UK companies, registered at a UK address, VAT must always be applied, and in addition all related services being provided are to a UK company, therefore VAT must also be applied. As the point of delivery is within the UK, VAT is due, even if the bill payer is not in the UK. I trust you understand our position on this matter.
