Why Is a Bank Referral Shown on the Website but Not Available in My Application?

If you have seen a bank listed as available on our website, but it does not appear as an option within your application or account, this article explains why that might be.

Available Bank Referrals for UK Residents

For UK residents, we can provide referrals to up to 8 banks. These are:

  • Barclays
  • NatWest
  • Monzo
  • HSBC
  • ANNA
  • Zempler
  • Tide
  • WorldFirst

However, availability of these referrals can vary depending on certain factors related to your specific company application.

Why a Bank Might Not Be Available to You

Even though a bank is listed as available on our website, it might not appear in your application or account due to the following reasons:

  1. Referral Availability
    Each bank has its own limits and restrictions for accepting referral requests. If a particular bank has reached its referral limit or is not currently accepting new referrals, it will not show as available in your application.

  2. Your Company's SIC Code
    The SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) code assigned to your company can affect which banks are available to you. Some banks do not accept referrals for certain business types or industries based on these codes.

What You Can Do

If your preferred bank is not available, you can select an alternative from the list of banks shown in your application. Alternatively, you may choose to apply directly with a different bank of your choice outside of the referral options.
