Do I need to get my Proof of ID document certified?

If you choose not to use CREDAS, it will be necessary for you to obtain certification of your document from a public notary, along with an official sworn translation, if needed.

Proof of Address 

Proof of address documents do not need to be certified.

However, certain documents, such as a Certificate of Residence or any documents translated by a notary, need to be stamped.
